Founded in Antwerp in 1991, the gallery moved to Knokke in 1994. In 2013, a second space was opened, overlooking the North Sea. The gallery's programme is built around established contemporary art with a focus on abstract painting. Over the past three decades, it has staged numerous solo shows devoted to artists with an established presence on the international art scene including Alan Charlton, Günther Förg, Bernard Frize, Imi Knoebel, Julian Opie, Dan Walsh, Terry Winters and Heimo Zobernig. About five solo exhibitions varies are organized per year. The gallery is also active in the secondary market, focusing in this context on colour field painting, minimalism and conceptual art. The gallery participates in a number of art fairs such as ARCO Madrid, Art Forum Berlin, Art Brussels, BRAFA and FIAC Paris.
