Small tureen decorated with gold chinoiseries and the arms of Charles of Lorraine, Meissen, between 1722 and 1735, H 14.5 cm, Ø 17.5 cm, maximum width with handles: 18.5 cm. Provenance: Collections of Charles Alexander of Lorraine in his castle of Tervuren. Mentioned in the inventory after death of Charles of Lorraine under the n° 257.

Established in 1998, the gallery Art et Patrimoine specialises in Chinese porcelain, European ceramics and works of art dating from the Middle Ages to the 18th century. Laurence Lenne has published numerous catalogues related to ceramics. She has also written articles dedicated to the detection of fake paintings on 18th century ceramics, and is a member of the Association des Spécialistes en Céramique de Collection in Paris.
