Didier Claes est un galeriste belge spécialisé dans l'art africain. Remarqué par son parcours atypique et ses découvertes de pièces d'exception dès le tout début de sa carrière, il compte aujourd'hui parmi les meilleurs spécialistes au monde de l'art africain ancien. En 2002, Didier Claes ouvre sa première galerie dans le quartier renommé du Sablon à Bruxelles. Il consacre alors ses activités à la présentation d'objets d'art de belle qualité provenant d’importantes collections occidentales et participe aux grands rendez-vous belges et internationaux de sa spécialité. La galerie est aujourd’hui installée dans un prestigieux espace dans le quartier de l’avenue Louise, et compte parmi sa clientèle de nombreux collectionneurs américains et européens ainsi que des institutions muséales internationales.
