The Galerie Fleury opened its first exhibition space in 2007 on avenue Matignon, presenting an international repertoire of artists that would form the basis of the gallery’s programme. In 2018, Alexandre and Richard Fleury inaugurated a new, larger space, also located on avenue Matignon, developing an exhibition programme focused on post-war and contemporary artists. The gallery quickly established itself on the international art scene by hosting several ambitious exhibitions, devoted to Alberto Burri, Hans Hartung, Bernar Venet and Alicia Penalba. Each year, the gallery presents a group exhibition exploring the intersections between the practices of painters and sculptors who have developed a sustainable concept on abstraction.
