Stéphane Renard Fine Arts - Highlights BRAFA 2026
For its third participation in BRAFA, STEPHANE RENARD FINE ART offers a selection of artworks combining Renaissance paintings, 17th century Flemish and 18th-century French and Venetian paintings, and a few sculptures. As in previous years, drawings will also be well represented at our stand, with artworks covering a broader spectrum from the 16th to the 20th century, including both major names (Giulio Romano, Nattier, Girodet, Ingres, Delacroix, Balthus, Hockney, etc.) and more accessible artists.

Kunst war schon immer die große Leidenschaft von Stéphane Renard! Nachdem er zuerst seine Spuren im Bankwesen hinterlassen hatte, entschied er sich 2020, seinem wahren Ruf zu folgen und gründete die Galerie Stéphane Renard Fine Art. Während sein Herz besonders für die Zeit von der Spätrenaissance bis zum Klassizismus (1550-1840) schlägt, will er sich keineswegs darauf beschränken. Er liebt die Kontraste und setzt als Kontrapunkt gerne moderne Kunstwerke neben klassischere Arbeiten. Renards breit gefächertes Interesse erlaubt es ihm, eine vielseitige Auswahl zu präsentieren – sie ist geprägt von eigenen Erlebnissen und persönlichen Favoriten. Bei seiner Auswahl sind nicht so sehr Epoche oder Stil entscheidend, sondern vielmehr handwerkliche Brillanz, Emotion und die tiefe Verwurzelung in der großen Tradition der Kunstgeschichte.
