Michael De Zutter grew up surrounded by art. His parents were knowledgeable collectors whose passion he inherited. After obtaining his law degree, he worked for a few years with a colleague dealer. In 2003, he founded his own gallery which first specialised in CoBrA art, with an emphasis on Alechinksy, Appel and Corneille, and later also in ZERO art with the artists Mack, Piene, Schoonhoven and Leblanc. The gallery gained increasingl international interest and since 2010, other international artists entered the raster with several solo shows: Balkenhol, Christo, Knoebel, Förg, Cragg, amongst others. Young contemporary artists such as Aboudia and Stefan De Jaeger have also come to broaden the spectrum of the gallery, which today stands out as a partner for young collectors wishing to acquire their first works, or to enlarge and enrich existing international collections.
