Galerie Alexis Bordes

Situated just next to the Place Vendôme, our elegant exhibition space in the heart of Paris attracts an international clientele. The intimacy of the upstairs gallery charms amateurs, collectors and institutions. The gallery welcomes clients every weekday and exhibits a selection of unpublished works on paper and canvas, mainly from the 18th and 19th century French schools, twice a year. Each exhibition is accompanied by a well-documented catalogue. The gallery has participated in the Paris Biennale since 2010, and BRAFA since 2004. For the past few years, Alexis Bordes has been working on a catalogue raisonné of the work of the wonderful portraitist Henri François Riesener.
