Sam Francis: Work and Influence

Die Galerie AB wurde 1989 von Agnès Aittouarès gegründet und befindet sich im Pariser Stadtteil Saint-Germain-des-Prés. Sie ist auf moderne Kunst spezialisiert und präsentiert in Ausstellungen und Publikationen Werke führender Künstler wie Pierre Bonnard, Pablo Picasso, Joan Miró, Alexandre Calder, Victor Brauner, Marc Chagall, Henri Michaux, Hans Hartung, Karel Appel, Pierre Alechinsky, César Baldaccini und Jean Pierre Ghysels. Die Auswahl der Werke erfolgt nach kuratorischen Maßstäben, wobei jedes Werk den Kriterien Qualität und Einzigartigkeit entspricht. Als FNEPSA-Expertin gründete Agnès Aittouarès im Jahr 2020 zudem ein Beratungs- und Sachverständigenbüro für die Verwaltung des künstlerischen Erbes. Sie unterstützt Sammler, Kuratoren und Institutionen beim Erwerb von Sammlungen. Die Galerie arbeitet mit renommierten Museen wie dem Musée d’Art Moderne de la Ville de Paris, dem Musée de Montmartre (Paris), dem Hôtel de Caumont (Aix-en-Provence) und dem Musée Bonnard (Le Cannet) zusammen. Die Galerie ist auch international aktiv und nimmt an zahlreichen Kunstmessen teil.
