Arte-Fact Fine Art at BRAFA 2026 - Forgotten Stories – A Tribute to Connections
18/11/2025
At BRAFA 2026, Arte-Fact Fine Art presents Forgotten Stories, inviting visitors to discover stories hidden beneath the surface of paint and time; connections between artists and patrons, courts and cultures, inspiration and creation.
Forgotten Stories takes visitors on a journey across Europe: from the glory of the Dutch Golden Age, through Antwerp’s artistic brilliance and Brussels’
courtly splendour, to the creative exchanges with Spain and Italy. A special thread in the presentation honours female voices, highlighting them not as marginal figures but as essential strands in the tapestry of artistic creation.
“Old Master paintings hold a magic beyond their beauty; they whisper forgotten stories and timeless inspirations. For the visitors of BRAFA, we hope to create a bridge across time, connecting them to the artists and stories of centuries past,” says gallery founder Claudia Walendy.
To be discovered at stand 132.
Domenico Puligo (Florence, 1492-1527), Madonna and Child with the young Saint John the Baptist, Oil on panel, 95 x 72 cm
