The Chadwick is an exceptional unique work from 1956, the year the sculptor won the Sculpture Prize at the Venice Biennale, when Giacometti came second. Maquette for Winged Figures II was also exhibited in 1957 at the Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam. It is made of an iron framework and composition. There is an energy and vitality between the figures.
