Chest of drawers Transition decorated with landscapes of antique ruins
Attributed to André-Louis Gilbert (Paris, 1746-1809) Master on July 20th 1774
Its front and sides are inlaid with a decoration of ruins and landscapes in tinted sycamore and amaranth that evokes the painter Hubert Robert (Paris 1733-1808). It stands on four arched legs adorned with bronze falls and sabots.
