Large in-4 (42.5 x 32.8 cm). 154 pp., cover ill. in black, frontispiece in colour, 19 plates in colour, ill. table of contents. Print: 250 copies on Vélin d'Arches paper, numbered from 1 to 250 (this one is numbered 230, signed by the artist). Stencilled plates based on Henry Matisse's collages and cut-ups by Edmond Vairel, who used the same Linel gouaches as the artist. Cover and pages of the manuscript engraved by Draeger frères.
Binding signed by Paul Bonet. Black box; on each side, a background of concentric circles of different sizes in a white box, with on top, three silhouettes on the first plate and two on the second that seem to dance, mosaic in pastel-coloured box; title mosaic on the back. (Carnets n° 1696)
