Galerie Kaléidoscope, founded in 2019 by Marie Deniau in Paris, is located in the heart of Saint-Germain-des-Prés. The gallery's main project consists in shedding a new light on the Parisian figurative avant-gardes in the 60s and 70s, usually called the 'Nouvelle figuration'. Through collaborations with estates, institutions and art historians, the gallery develops an exhibition and publication programme focused on artists who renewed the power of expression in figurative painting at the time: Maryan, Antonio Recalcati, Jacques Grinberg, Fernand Teyssier, Maria Lassnig, Eduardo Arroyo, Hervé Télémaque, Paul Rebeyrolle, Michel Macréau, Marcel Pouget, Mao To Laï…
