Arts et Autographes Gallery offers a unique manuscript dictated by Napoléon
Jean-Emmanuel Raux opened his first gallery in 1975 in the Yvelines, then in 1999 moved to Paris by opening his Arts et Autographes gallery, in the 6th arrondissement of Paris, rue de l’odéon. He has been joined since 2015 by his daughter Alizée Raux, who is in charge of the Fine Arts department of the gallery. At its beginning, the Parisian gallery was strongly specialized in historical documents. Then over the years more, they expanded into the musical and fine arts. Jean-Emmanuel Raux has become an expert in manuscripts in France. With the arrival of his daughter, Alizée Raux, the gallery takes a new turn by diversifying into modern and contemporary art paintings. Alizee’s goal is to associate a manuscript of a painter with his painting to show the theoretical part of his art, his character, his friendships and his relationships. Whether for manuscripts or paintings, each piece is unique, authentic and with an irreproachable quality in order to bring collectors and institutions pleasure and serenity in their purchases.
