ABOUT

Gladstone Gallery is a leading contemporary art gallery with locations in New York and Brussels. Representing more than fifty artists, as well as major foundations and estates, Gladstone Gallery has played a significant role in launching the careers of several of the most notable artists working today. Gladstone Gallery’s artists work in a variety of media, including photography, video, installation, painting, and sculpture. The diversity of the artists’ practices ranges from films by Shirin Neshat and Matthew Barney, to the interactive videos of Ian Cheng, to the sculptures of Ugo Rondinone and Damián Ortega, to the photographs of Robert Mapplethorpe, and to monumental installations by Thomas Hirschhorn. Recent gallery exhibitions include Vivian Suter, Ian Cheng, Philippe Parreno, Amy Sillman, Carroll Dunham, Victor Man, Sarah Lucas, Allora & Calzadilla, Keith Haring, Cyprien Gaillard, Banks Violette, and Lina Bo Bardi. For BRAFA 2020, Gladstone Gallery is working on a special project which will showcase a selection of works from our gallery-represented artists, as well as important secondary market masterpieces by leading modern and post-war artists. Gladstone Gallery aims to combine its deep connection to 20th-century masters with its ongoing mission to promote the most exciting contemporary artists of our time.
