ABOUT

Galerie Eberwein has dealt in art from ancient Mediterranean civilisations for forty years. Today, Antonia Eberwein, daughter of the founder Roswitha Eberwein, ensures the continuity and success of the company at the gallery in the Saint-Germain district in Paris. The gallery specialises in Egyptian art and objects from neighbouring cultures, dating from 3500 BC to the Coptic period of about 1000 AD. Each object is examined for authenticity and provenance and has a complete dossier detailing its history and cultural context, and relevant publications. Each is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity. The gallery presents a collection of museum-quality pieces, offering objects that correspond to the budgets of experienced and new collectors. The gallery’s close relationship with important figures in the domain of ancient art and their international clientele testify to their reputation worldwide. A member of IADAA, SNA and the Verband der Kunst und Antiquitätenhändler Niedersachsen, the gallery is affiliated to the CINOA and participates regularly in international fairs including PAD, BAAF Brussels, BRAFA Brussels, TEFAF Maastricht, BAAF Basel and Westdeutsche Kunstmesse and Kunstmesse München.
