Repetto Gallery - Giorgio Morandi

From September 20th, 2025, 11 paintings by Giorgio Morandi will be exhibited at the gallery, including landscapes, flowers and still lifes, as well as 10 drawings and 10 etchings created between 1915 and 1963. The exhibition proposes a reflection on the oeuvre of the renowned Italian painter and engraver in relation to a series of works by modern and contemporary artists who, through varied and heterogeneous approaches, engage with his poetics. Bertozzi & Casoni, Pier Paolo Calzolari,  Gianni Caravaggio,  Peter Dreher,   Luigi Ghirri,  David Hockney,  Gianfranco Ferroni,  Osvaldo Licini,  Ben Nicholson, Sergio Romiti,  Salvo, Sean Scully, Franco Vimercati are the protagonists of this inspiring dialogue.

An illustrated catalogue, published by Moebius and featuring an essay by Maria Cristina Bandera, will accompany the exhibition.
