At Brafa, Nardi will present some new exceptional “wearable art” jewellery pieces such as the new Leone collection. The Lion, symbol “par excellence” of strength, courage and virtue and symbol of Venice, has been reinterpreted by Nardi. Made with the finest craftmenship this collection of bracelets, earrings, brooches and cufflinks, is made with black gold and burnished silver and set with white and brown colour diamonds. The back of the brooch is engraved with the words "Pax tibi, Marce, evangelista meus": according to legend, these are the words an angel told to the saint who was shipwrecked on the lagoon. In his dream, the angel took the form of a winged lion and announced to Mark that he would find rest on that land ("Hic requiescet corpus tuum").
