L’Egocentrique 2 by Evelyne Axell was created in dialogue with Le Galet by the surrealist René Magritte. The pop art artist gives shape to a liberating image of womanhood - colourful and playful - inspired by the feminism of the 1960s. The work reflects her taste for an experimental and free use of contemporary, non-artistic materials. A surprising encounter between two generations and two genders, each offering their own perspective.
