Kálmán Makláry Fine Arts Gallery is dedicated to the artists of the Parisian Post-War School. Focusing on the Abstract and Surrealist movements, it presents works by artists such as Judit Reigl, Simon Hantai, François Fiedler, Alfred Reth, Arpad Szenes, Endre Rozsda and Victor Vasarely. Through exhibitions held at its Budapest location and its publication of books and catalogues, the gallery has brought a number of highly significant artists back into focus, some of whom had slipped from view over the last few decades. The gallery has collaborated with museums and art collectors for many years. Today, some of the gallery’s artists have already found their deserved place in major modern art museums around the world. The gallery also presents work by Etienne Beöthy, Joseph Csaky, Tibor Csernus, Ilhwa Kim, Gustave Miklos, Laszlo Moholy-Nagy, Anton Prinner, Etienne Sandorfi, Geza Szobel, Sam Havadtöy, Kamill Major, Attila Futaki, Hur Kyung-Ae, Lim Dong-Lak and Suh Jeong-Min.
